Founded by our Principal and master craftsman John Fitzgibbon, Ashford Premium Finishes was established as an integrity driven premier boutique finish house, operating out of the beautiful seaside town of Winthrop, Massachusetts.

Our company foundation is built on a single conviction, true luxury craftsmanship cannot be rushed or mass produced to a premium standard. Recognizing that production-time-pressured crews, often compromise on quality we identified an underserved tier of discerning homeowners and property management professionals in the Greater Boston luxury market.

We bridge this strategic service gap by offering a dedicated alternative to the larger corporate system firms through our unique single-project focus, backed by a firm commitment that we never job hop or overlap projects. We finish what we start in one timeframe with total focus on each individual commission.

When we accept an engagement your property immediately becomes our exclusive priority. Your home will never be left in the hands of large unsupervised or unvetted crews. Providing that exact peace of mind is why Ashford Premium Finishes was created.

With more than four decades of expertise, we specialize exclusively in boutique interior painting of luxury condominiums, historic townhomes, and high-end commercial spaces in the Greater Boston and North Shore area.

For many years we operated as a small traditional residential and commercial painting firm. Over time we chose to step away from the high-volume-production multi-crew model that defines large modern painting companies to focus exclusively on creating a more tailored personal experience for our select clientele.

By delivering exceptional white-glove service and crafting professional artisan interior finishes that bring your spaces and our passion for precision to life.

When you commission Ashford Premium Finishes for your custom interior project, you are not hiring a revolving crew of unknown strangers. You are partnering with an experienced dedicated artisan who personally manages and executes your project form start to finish. From the initial consultation, to impeccable surface protection, and extensive preparation work, to the final flawless brush stroke.

We offer a discreet, confidential and deeply personalized, custom service experience. We value your time, your privacy and your space.

Our Name Ashford:

Our name is proudly inspired by the breathtaking, 800 year old Ashford Castle situated near the village of Cong on the Galway-Mayo border in the west of Ireland. Formerly the country estate of the Guinness family, the castle is now a world renowned, five-star luxury hotel owned and operated by The Red Carnation Hotel Collection.

Sitting on the banks of Irelands second-largest lake Lough Corrib, and nestled within an expansive 350 acre estate, it stands as the absolute epitome of timeless luxury, craftsmanship and quality.

Having grown up just a few miles from its gates and visited on many occasions our founder John still feels the same sense of awe when he returns. Our standard of uncompromised excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and deep respect for history is directly inspired from the enduring heritage, timeless architecture, and flawless preservation of Irelands historic Ashford Castle.

We strive to bring that same elite, old-world dedication to craftsmanship straight to Boston’s finest modern residences
